The Air Guardians and the Guardian ANGels Education Fund are two separate entities. The Air Guardians is a socially beneficial local non-profit whose funds are used for the operation of the organization. The Guardian ANGels are designated as a 501(c)(3) nontaxable charitable organization for educational programs and scholarships.
Funds are used for education and scholarships only. Both groups work as one and are comprised of dedicated volunteers only. 100% of the funds received are used to support the organization’s goals.

In Arizona, if you contribute to the 162d Fighter Wing (FW) Guardian ANGels, you can receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against your State taxes. The organization’s Tax ID number is 501c(3)-47-2265695.
We are following 501(c)(3) restrictions. The Guardian ANGels funds can only be used for education and scholarships. The Air Guardians organization is a 501(c)(4) and manages all other funds to run the organization.
All members and board members of the Air Guardians are volunteers and receive no compensation for their work. Unlike most other nonprofits, every dollar we receive goes directly toward our mission.

No, you do not need to be an active volunteer to be a member.
Yes, you can. Remote members can also volunteer if they would like to. We have ongoing projects that could be done remotely, like writing articles, photography work, etc…
A select group, with a specific agenda, will travel to Washington for a 2-day trip. They will meet with Senators and Congressmen, based on their availability.
